podcast zero zero one

I promised a surprise for today.

Today is Sunday. Today many of us relax, take a break from the daily goings on and relearn the sacred art of breathing. Rest, because we are human beings, not human doings, and sometimes we need to be reminded of this.

In the gospels, Jesus uses birds as an example-- the birds don't take care of themselves, they don't work, and save up, and plan out, but the Father, the Creator, He takes care of them. They don't have to do anything, they don't have to live on this high-stress level, they can simply rest, and just be.

May we be free as birds.

So, without further ado, my new podcast. (surprise!)

I hope you guys enjoy. Give me feedback, I would love to hear! As I mention in this segment, I'm learning an entirely new recording/mixing program to make this podcast, so I'm still working out all the little quirks. So this is a brand new work in progress.

Have a wholesome, restful Sunday, beautifuls.

  1. Katie, Katie, Katie! This completely made my morning. It was so fun to put a voice to your emails and texts! I honestly felt like I was having tea with you so,we here and just talking about life, superb!

I loved the pot cast (it wasn't too long) xx

I feel like I've had so many point A moments in my life. No matter how old I get, I never stop running out of dreams and point Bs I want to get to. Seeing myself change so much over the course of my life has been blessing. Just to see how God brought me from A to B and seeing how much pain He saved me from! Point A is a cool place to be, it's the special moments, it's what we remember. xox

Beautiful post Katie, keep it up!

  4. Finally got a chance to listen to this. First thought) okay.. this is weird... I'm actually listening to her voice. It's always weird for me to hear the actual real-life voice of bloggers like in vlogs and stuff like this. Second thought) wow I love this! Seriously, it was really great. And it really did strike a chord with me. I always feel like I'm stuck in between point a and point b, I'm always wishing away time (just ask my mother, she'll tell you so too). I'm a dreamer, and I'm constantly longing for that wonderful point b. But the thing is, point b never actually comes. You might finally make it to a certain goal, but new goals and point b's are always coming, and that's what I'm beginning to realize. I will never be fully satisfied in this life.

Sorry that got long. Anyway, can't wait to listen to more podcasts in the future! ^.^
