Currents and coolness

Happy May everyone! (since, apparently, I haven't posted since April! O.o)
I don't know about you, but it's a beautiful day here in VT. The sun is out and all the little bright green leaves are all lit up and the birds are flitting around and chattering and chirping and singing and chuckling from every which direction!

And so, a few more currents before we get down to some serious blogging on ocean-related stuff. (Which is coming and you know it. ;))

I recently had the pleasure of being able to do an art show with my Dad- 'springtime in Canandaigua, NY', and we both had heaps and heaps of fun!

As well as working, I did get to do a lot of walking around the show, so I got too see all the cool goodies- and even grab a few.

Like this totally lovely necklace I purchased from Oatka Creek Studios:

Now, I've never been much of a jewelry girl, but these pieces were so unique! (And I love unique.)
I loved the one with the crow- but I was torn because she also had pendants with poems in ancient runes printed on them. They were so cool.

There were also a lot of photographers there, so I did a loooot of window shopping!
It was hard to be frugal!

What have you been up to this week?

Love, love,

  1. I am glad someone in the US is having normal weather! Here in Missouri there is snow on the ground and it is 37 degrees. o.O Two days ago is was 80 degrees and dry as a bone. Yesterday it rained/sleeted/snowed all day. Mostly snow. We got 4-5 inches!

Dude! I love that necklace! Super pretty. We were supposed to go to our cities Art Fest today, but we decided not to due to the weather. :-)

    1. OH MY WORD! SERIOUSLY? That's crazy!!
I'll be praying some warm weather your way!!
Thanks so much! Aww, bummer. Art shows are so fun. :-D

comments are like dark chocolate and they make this kid way happy. I love hearing from you guys! (check back because I reply...and I love checking out your blogs, so don't leave me without a link to yours!) ♥
