ROAD TRIP!

...So I kind of gave everything away with the title, did I not?

Well, what can I say? Those two simple words up there are enough to make me want to scream and perhaps run mad; hence my lack of blog posts.

BUT, I did have two ah-mazing guest posters- Lydia and Jessie: thank you both so much for the awesomenesses. You both rock. (And if you didn't read their posts yet, you really oughta scroll down and devour the words. Strong suggestion ;))

SO. I went on a road trip. And it was mindblowingly awesome if I do say so myself. And that should be warning enough right there that you'll be hearing a LOT about the adventure; so fasten your nonexistent seat belt and brace yourself for the bizarre blogging streak that will no doubt follow this post. (Bring your own oreos and life jackets. Please.)

Because I really must admit, everything about road trips is pretty darn awesome; wind screaming through the window screen, trees flying by at blasphemous rates- not to mention the road signs and traffic lights -and pavement rolling around beneath the tires like playful waves licking a sweet new cruise liner's hull.

What's not to love?

Ocean hugs,
Sailor

  3. Dearest Sailor,

How lovely that sounds!!! Unfortunately, I've never gone on a road trip (because a road trip around the island would only take a day or so), but it sounds delightful. And inspiring. I do love open windows. Wind billowing in.

I can only imagine how lovely it is. ;) And that last picture is so delicious!

    Ocean hugs to you too,
    Rebekah
